What do you think about Lene Mykjaland’s reported move to Washington? – Terri Byrne, USA

Lene Mykjaland
I saw Mykjaland play twice against my team in the UEFA Women’s Champions League and she was Roa’s most creative player who can create chances for herself and for her teammates. There were times in both games when she disappeared and Roa struggled.
She is willing to come short or she can go over the top and she has an eye for goal. Watching her you can see she is still learning how to use the pace and strength that she has and I was not quite sure about the defensive side of her game.
I expect that in Washington she will have to share time with De Vanna as Wambach’s partner. She is young and no matter how good a player you are, if you put yourself in a position where you are not playing 90 minutes or struggle to make an impact, it will hold you back.
